Letter from Chairman, Executive Interchange Committee
Asia represents vast opportunities and complex challenges for U.S. companies. We have spent years in Asia operating electronic manufacturing and distribution companies, continuously learning and re-learning how to deal with many of the challenges and to capitalize on opportunities. We have often heard stories from our fellow CEOs whose companies have faltered due to lack of preparedness.
There is no better way of dealing with rapidly evolving challenges than staying on the cutting edge of knowledge and resources. We have over the years benefited greatly from the experiences and advice of our peers operating in that region.
The Asia-America Chamber of Commerce organizes many activities. We want to particularly mention our monthly Executive Interchange breakfast meetings. Over breakfast, executives meet and exchange ideas and discuss current issues related to doing business in Asia. The meetings are two hours in length and provide for networking time where you can informally meet with your peers and then a structured discussion led by a topic expert. Participation is usually limited to 15 – 20 executives to foster interactive dialogues.
If you are a C-level executive conducting business in Asia, we would welcome you to join us for breakfast. If you are interested, please email Tony Zhang, Chairman, The Board of Directors, Asia-America Chamber of Commerce to register your interest.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
